Camp Meeting Minutes 11/5/12

Fundraising:
Suggestions put forward-
  • Chocolate- 2 options- Feddo or variety: Makes $20 per box sold.
  • Bunnings BBQ August
  • Sausage Sizzle at Uni
Camp participants are to state on the Wiki if they are able to sell chocolates or not. Those who feel they are not able to sell chocolates are to assist with other fundraising ventures.

Accomodation:
  • Your name plus 5 other people who you would like to share a room with on an email to the committee
  • Transport: Taking cars, who are available to drive? Take in to consideration bags (This also needs to be forwarded to the accomodation committee)
  • Cabins- single sex

Activities:
  • 4 groups; rotation
  • Photos of the camp will be uploaded into the wiki
  • One first aider per group

Health and Safety:
  • Dietry requirements/ medications/ injuries etc need to be forwarded to the camp.

Questions forwarded onto the wiki page.

Camp Meeting Minutes 25/5/12

Hi guys, From our meeting today it was decided that by tonight everybody should have logged onto the wiki and written whether they would like to sell chocolates or not. Please ensure you do this. Everybody has been changed to an organiser on the Wiki so everybody should be able to write information on there now. s3236583@student.rmit.edu.au Please also ensure that you email Rima and let her know about the rooms you would like to be in. s3239093@student.rmit.edu.au If you haven't paid or organised a payment plan with Jessie, contact her. s3233432@student.rmit.edu.au Check the Wiki over the weekend to check which activity group you are put in.

  • Activities group reads out groups for rotation groups once at camp
  • Mitch needs to be added (only 40, 10 in each group)

  • Hegernd maze – 12 hands raised – possibility?
  • Lilydale Lake with skywalk option
  • Decided on Mount donna buang with skywalk and hegend maze

Finance
  • Money is already due – Emma will send out an email
  • If you need any alternative arrangements see Jessie

Accommodation
  • Please write back to email regarding room selection.
  • Only 20 people have written back
  • Boys not all together – still need to write
  • Girls get better bathrooms and such decided executively by Tim and Drew
  • Two Don’t need to share a double bed.

Fundraising
  • Please get on the wiki and state if you need chocolates
  • Dave to get money from finance committee for chocolates.

General
  • Problems getting on the wiki – Dale to address.
  • Chocolates to be ordered for next Friday. Dave to bring on Friday.
  • Meeting next week to take place. Debbie will be absent. Meeting at 12.30


Camp Meeting Minutes 25/7/12

General
  • Timeline to be completed by the end of the session
  • Each group has time to meet and plan
  • Next camp meeting will be next week!

Activites
  • Activity program distrubuted
  • Some activities need to be run by Adanac Staff. Team focus- flags, banners. If survivor theme is to be followed funds will be needed to get supplies- consultation with fundraising committee.
  • Groups and activity rotations are on the wiki.
  • Some of the day activity groups have been slightly changed due to people no longer doing the camp.

Night Activites
  • Night activities committee plan on having a trivia night with a dress up theme, if anyone has any requests for night activities let them know.

Fundraising
  • Fundraising committe would like everyone to email if there committee requires funds and approximately how mich is needed so that we have a target.
  • Sausage sizzles and raffles are to be organized in the coming weeks people will need to assist with these.
  • Chocolate money needs to be in by next Wednesday.
  • If anyone can donate anything to be raffled please contact the fundraising committee.

Camp Meeting Minutes 1/8/12


Fundraising:
  • thank you for those who have been selling raffle tickets, going well so far!
  • Fundraising for chocolates needs to be in by next wednesday, 8th.
  • BBQ 8th and 13th August, 150 sausages, 10 bread, onions, sauce, servettes, gloves, bins
  • Email Jo Virgona to promote among all Education students and staff
  • Signd for BBQ to put around campus
  • We need people to run the BBQ- an email will be sent please reply if you can help
  • Emily will contact property services to book the BBQs
  • Final fundraising amounts will be confirmed on the 15th of August

Debi and Phil:
  • Assessment/ course guide have been posted on to the black board. Make sure you are collecting evidence to support what your contribution is!
  • Make sure there is a wet weather alternative.
  • Make sure that you do the work yourself: do as much as you can when you are on the camp, work as team, colaborate!
  • When writing the report acknowledge that you co-authored it. Referecing is vital!
